Hi, my name is mostlynick and I specialize in one-button macros to help me facilitate my addiction for multiboxing.
Today it’s time for Priest macros.
Prerequisites: SuperDuperMacro. The only prerequisite I use SuperDuperMacro for my Priest macros. It is technically possible to fully macro a priest using only normal 255 character macros, though I extend mine for more functionality.
Single-Target Macro:
/castsequence [nostance] reset=30 Inner Fire,Vampiric Embrace,null
/castsequence [nostance] !Shadowform
/castsequence [harm,stance,nochanneling] reset=10,target Mind Flay,Mind Flay,Shadow Word: Pain,null
/castsequence [harm,stance,nochanneling] reset=18 Vampiric Touch,
Devouring Plague, Mind Flay,Mind Flay,Mind Flay,Mind Flay,Mind Flay,Vampiric Touch,
Mind Flay,Mind Flay,Mind Flay,Devouring Plague,Mind Flay, Mind Flay,Vampiric Touch,
Mind Flay,Mind Flay,Mind Flay,Mind Flay,Mind Flay,Mind Flay
/petattack
/castsequence [combat,nochanneling] !Shoot,!Shoot
AOE Macro
/stopmacro [channeling]
/cast [nostance] Holy nova
/cast [stance:1] [nochanneling:Mind Sear]Mind Sear
/use 13
/use 14
Concluding Notes:
- Utility: Consider appending the macros with my general multiboxing utility macros for easier multiboxing.
- Buffs and uptime: The single-target macro uses all required buffs and ensures uptime through wanding if the Priest’s mana runs out. It will not cast raid buffs, though it could be macroed in, preferably with a [nocombat] conditional, if you keep stacks of candles.
- Mana: Consider extending the macro by using GSE to periodically cast Shadowfiend, if mana is a problem.
- Rotation: The rotation may need to be changed depending on your spec and raid comp; this is a tier 10 4-piece setup. Some Mind Flays should be swapped out for Mind Blasts if you need the mana regen or don’t have 4-piece tier 10.
